Department Store in 1930s Aberdeen

Description

A promotional film for the Aberdeen department store Isaac Benzie, it shows a family in their home before setting of for a day's shopping in the store, visiting many of its various departments. This clip shows the fictional Mackenzie family and friend leaving home, being waved off by the maid and chauffeur driven to Benzies Department Store. The children are left at the toy department whilst the ladies go for coffee. After coffee the ladies have the latest style the 'Marcel Wave' at the hairdressing department.
