Glasgow's Yesterdays (clip 1) - Compilation of early news and local topical footage

A selection of local topical films made in the early years of the 20th century looking at life in Glasgow. The compilation was produced by C. A. Oakley around 1940 from original nitrate films he discovered in the 1930s.

This clip shows holidaymakers arriving at Wemyss Bay Railyway Station following their train journey to catch the ferry.
