This film shows what life was like in Edinburgh in the 1960s, with glimpses into its historical heritage and featuring plenty of street scenes.

This clip looks at the the modern city, monuments and civic buildings. It paints a vivid picture of the city's industrial life with shots of breweries, printing, glass blowing, producing wire cloth, paper making, engineering, shipbuilding, glass blowing, electronics, rubber maunufacturing for tyres and food manufacture (shortbread).
