Activities:

Media Studies / Music: Strip away the soundtrack and create a new jingle and voice-over for a modern audience.

Health and Wellbeing / Media Studies: Research the modern cost of the products from Come Co-operative Shopping, Australia Week and Save in 1969. Create a modern advert for them using Windows Moviemaker or iMovie - include a voice-over, you can even use a similar accent to the ones used in the adverts.

Geography / Media Studies / Health and Wellbeing: Research the origin of well known products and create a modern co-operative advert for a themed week of your own (e.g. French week, German week).

Social History: Watch the five adverts without knowing anything about them and put them in the order by the time you think they were made and explain why.

Health and Wellbeing: Research how eating habits have changed.

Art and Design / ICT / Health and Wellbeing: Imagine you have travelled back in time - create a poster/advert to educate someone from the 1950s about healthy eating using knowledge we have nowadays.
