Description
Synopsis
Made during the Second World War, the film highlights some of the problems healthcare in the Highlands and Islands and Scotland's larger cities. This clip focuses on the problems of Glasgow and promotes various modern health measures such as ante-natal clinics, school milk, holiday camps for children and inoculation. Here we see shots of chimneys, tenement back-courts, city streets, nurseries and health clinics.
