  • Print All

Description

Established in a country house, Cally House was Britain's first local authority boarding school for senior pupils of both sexes who had been evacuated from Glasgow. Here pupils were given a lot of control over what they studied and how they lived. The film shows the daily life of the students studying, cooking, cleaning and even helping out on the farm.
