Social Studies: Put together your own charity appeal (e.g. lunchtime club).

Social History / Maths: Research how many women were in employment in the 1940s/1950s compared with today - present your findings in a graph.

Social Studies: Discussion activity about career aspirations.

English: Creative writing - imagine one of these girls is transported to modern day Scotland - how would they feel, act? If you were transported back to 1939 how would feel and act?

Social History: Research topic - speak to grandparents about their experiences of clubs. Investigate the rights of the child.
