  • Where does the women go?
  • What do you think the man is reading and how does this effect the story?
  • How does the lighting contribute to the mood and atmosphere?

Activities

Expressive Arts / English / Drama: Devise a voice-over script to either add to the sinister effect or produce a different tone or effect (ie comedy).

Expressive Arts / Media Studies / English: Storyboard the shots used in the film and discuss how the film is made to look sinister (e.g. lighting etc).

English: Write the rest of the story following on from the end of the clip.

Expressive Arts / Drama: Create a film or drama piece acting out what happens next in the film.

English: Write an extract from the book he is reading that might explain what has happened.
