Questions & Activities

Questions

  • What kinds of transport can you see?
  • What are the advantages or disadvantages of different types of travel?

Activities

Business / Modern Studies / Media Studies: The advert seems to be selling freedom to sell the Travelpass. Research how lifestyle is used to sell holidays of different kinds as well as other products and brands we often take at face value.

Advertising / Media Studies / Modern Studies / Moving Image Education: Advertisers know that our attention span for watching advertisements is decreasing. Download both clips from this film and recut the footage into a modern one-minute TV advert that would sell a similar product today. Are there any aspects of the story you would change or remove to satisfy the sensitivities of a modern audience?
