From Scotland With Love, a feature-length documentary created entirely from Scottish archive film, has been commissioned by Creative Scotland and the BBC for the 2014 Commonwealth Games Culture Festival. A journey into our collective past, the film explores universal themes of love, loss, resistance, migration, work and play.
Directed by Virginia Heath with a soundtrack by King Creosote, From Scotland With Love has delighted television audiences and will be shown with live musical accompaniment on Glasgow Green on Thursday 31 July 2014. The film was produced by Faction North, Crossover and the Scottish Screen Archive.
