Trickery of Movement – an Introduction to Animation

Engage with the history of early animation in this hands-on workshop.

Second Level / Primary 5–7 (SOC 2-04A, TCH 2-12a). Workshops take place on selected days only – please check when booking.

Visit Kelvin Hall in Glasgow to find out about Scotland's earliest animation (held at the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive) and to explore objects from Glasgow Museums’ store.

During the workshop, learners have the chance to create their own optical toys and watch their drawings come to life.
