First World War soldiers bound for camp (possibly Clochiel) arriving at Campbeltown, together with their supplies in horse-drawn carts and wagons. The film features shots of the White Hart Hotel and Post Office in Campbeltown. Crowds throng at the dockside with soldiers of the 7th and 9th Battalion of the Argyll Regiment wearing kilts and carrying rifles as they march through the streets. Shots of horse-drawn vehicles and an open-topped single-decker motor omnibus marked 'The Argyllshire Motor Co.' driving past. The film was made for screening at the De Luxe Cinemas in Rothesay (Bute) and Glasgow by cinema owner Randall Burnette.
